Meet Jennie Milner
From crafting production jewelry to painting large-scale murals to teaching countless students, Jennie has spent years refining her skills and cultivating her passion for hands-on artistry.
Creativity and craftsmanship are equally important to Jennie. She has spent many years keeping both alive in her work. She teaches in her studio at Artworks Center for Contemporary Art, where she has worked for 12+ years making jewelry, teaching beginner metalsmiths, and designing and painting over 50 murals!
She received her degree from Colorado State University in Fine Art Metalsmithing and has taught many workshops through Interweave Press, The University of Northern Colorado, Boulder Metalsmithing Association, The Naja, and is a past President of two non-profit Organizations, The Colorado Metalsmithing Association and Artworks Center for Contemporary Art.
From painting to metalsmithing, her goal is to explore and express the beauty of the handmade through the evolution of materials, the development of skills, and the impact of art in the lives of her students. Her practice is a continuous exploration of how art can shape and enrich lives, inviting others to join in this dynamic journey of creation and discovery.
